Starrs Sourdough is no longer in D.C.
Starrs Sourdough shut down all D.C. baking at the end of August 2021, after a brilliant two-year run. I have since moved back to Alaska, where my love of baking truly took root in the summer of 2019, and am continuing to work on recipe development and finding what's next for Starrs Sourdough from Anchorage. Thank you to my D.C. bread family for all the love during this endeavor!
ARCADIA MOBILE MARKET (halted)
Starrs Sourdough wheat sandwich loaves are available for purchase at the Arcadia Mobile Market. They meet the approachable loaf criteria of being more than 60% whole wheat, featuring six ingredients or less, coming pre-sliced and packaged in a plastic bag, and costing $6 or less. And, in line with my commitment to local products, they feature 90% local ingredients, in the form of local wheat and local honey. As part of The BreadLab Collective run by WSU's BreadLab, 10 cents of every loaf helps to fund further research into whole grain products.
PRIVATE BREAD ORDERS (on hiatus)
